If you want to know the character of an organization, look at the company they keep. Our partners come from all over the world and are incredibly passionate and excited about their work with Bella Groves. In addition to our amazing local team, we have been fortunate to strike partnerships with the best and brightest minds of our profession. This is a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes to advance our work on your family’s behalf. Dementia support takes a village – here is ours.
Our consulting directors are accomplished professionals in the field of senior care. Both Lora Wiliams and Aaron Fish are accomplished speakers, instructors, and business owners within their specialties. They work with our CEO and leadership team to bring objective and informed expertise to making life better and different for residents and families of Bella Groves.
Part of our mission is to help our local community be dementia friendly. This means supporting local businesses and organizations with dementia training for their teams, being an available resource to their patrons, and otherwise partnering with them to ensure an inclusive community for anyone affected by dementia. We provide this service at no charge to businesses. As we continue to build our presence and impact in northern San Antonio, we hope to add more and more local organizations that are dedicated to building an inclusive community for people living with dementia. With our heartfelt gratitude, we want to recognize our community partners who are helping us to meet our worthwhile vision.
Dr. Kelsey Garza has a special mission to help alleviate dental anxiety and fear, so it felt natural when she reached out to Bella Groves to partner with us in creating dementia friendly places for the communities of Bulverde and Spring Branch. Bella Groves is proud to work with Dr. Garza by offering dementia training to their practice.
Hope Reins has a mission to provide professional equine assisted activities to individuals with special needs. Bella Groves happily provides opportunities for residents to go to the Hope Reins equestrian therapy center, and we hope to support their organization's mission by providing ongoing dementia-friendly approaches and training to support their already high level of therapeutic knowledge.
